acıktım.be is an independent, personal food diary. We have no commercial relationship, sponsorship, partnership, advertising arrangement or paid-content agreement with any of the venues featured on this site.
We visited every place we write about as ordinary paying customers and settled our own bills. We have accepted no free meals, complimentary dishes, discounts, invitations, gifts, products or payments from any venue. Nothing written here has been given in exchange for any benefit.
This site carries no advertising. There are no affiliate links, commissions or referral fees, and no revenue model of any kind. It is published purely as a personal archive, on a non-commercial basis.
Everything here reflects our personal experience and subjective taste on the date of the visit. It is not a professional assessment, rating, expert opinion or recommendation, and is not intended to direct anyone's choices. Menus, chefs, ownership, prices and quality all change over time. We give no guarantee as to the currency, accuracy or completeness of the content.

Independently of that choice, your language preference (Turkish or English) is kept in your browser so the site remembers it next time. It is not a tracking device and it is never sent to our servers.
The data collected only tells us which pages are being read and how often. It is not used for advertising, not shared with anyone and not sold. The site carries no ad networks, tracking pixels or third-party tracking scripts.
If you sign up to the newsletter we store only your email address; it is used for that newsletter alone and shared with nobody. To leave the list, just write to us on Instagram.
If you own or manage a venue we have written about and would like something corrected or removed, contact us via our Instagram account. We will consider the request and respond within a reasonable time.
