Güzelev Gümüşlük

Our Bodrum discovery this holiday was Güzelev. A hundred metres from Gümüşlük's famous Limon, this tiny garden holds a bar and just five or six tables. The menu leans towards meze, but you can also order pizza from Deli Pizza upstairs. The owner, Serdar, prepares the cocktails at the bar with real care. In the chaos of Bodrum, Güzelev is one of the rare places still holding on to the Bodrum spirit. Six years old, it has grown in popularity this year in particular by word of mouth. Serdar says he's determined to keep the place as it is; we hope he manages it.
