Manici Kasri Beach Assos

Giritli, which we've known in Istanbul for more than twenty years, has started serving this summer inside Manici Beach on the Kaz Dağları coast as well.

In the evenings the familiar Giritli fixed-menu concept applies here too: a wide range of meze, a high level of cooking, good service and a wonderful location right on the water.

The real surprise was the barbecue buffet they serve during the day. Starting at 3pm every other Sunday, the buffet offers everything from flatbreads to stuffed mussels, pasta to salads — different but delicious.

The Manici hotel beach is a lovely place in itself. They don't take many customers beyond regulars and hotel guests, so it's worth arriving early.
