Manzara Restaurant Söğüt

As the name suggests, Manzara Söğüt promises a magnificent view and sunset. But the level of the cooking has climbed far above the view. Manzara serves both seafood and meat, but the seafood in particular is at a high level.
The two young brother chefs in the kitchen, Naci and Ali, are working wonders.
On our visit we leaned towards seafood. The tuna tataki was good beyond description. Of the rest, the baby squid, the prawn risotto (made with wheat), the hot sea beans with yoghurt and the purslane salad with strawberry and almond were all wonderful. The amberjack ceviche was a notch behind the others.
Manzara has a young, cheerful service team that knows what it's doing. This is a different experience from the fish-and-meze culture we're used to on the Aegean coast.
