Nahita

Nahita, inside the Argos hotel in Uçhisar, Cappadocia, serves some of the finest examples of Turkish cooking. The menu, developed with the guidance of Ömür Akkor — the creator of Zennup — carries echoes of Central Anatolian cooking in particular.
Nahita takes its name from the historic name of Niğde, the home town of owner Ferit Şahenk. Of what we tried, the freekeh cacık, the Nevşehir fried potatoes, the pan-fried liver with aubergine and yoghurt, the yağlama and the sour cherry kadayıf were all high-level.
With a cellar of 400 different wines, Nahita also produces its own. We were very pleased with the Nahita Dokya Syrah 2021.
With a highly capable service team, its cooking and details thought through to the finest point, Nahita shines as the star of the region.
