Sumakh
Sumakh is one of the right addresses for discovering Azerbaijani cooking in Baku. We started with düşbərə soup, went on to xəngəl (similar to mantı) and qutab (a kind of gözleme), and finished with turşu qovurma (rice with lamb and dried fruit) and quzu səbəti (lamb in a pastry basket with pomegranate sauce). After all that we only had room for a taste of the pumpkin dessert. 😋
