Vinitus

Say Barcelona and the first places that come to mind are tapas bars — usually lovely rooms where you can try different flavours in small plates.
There's no shortage of tapas options in Barcelona, but Vinitus in the Quadrat d'Or is one of the leading ones. It doesn't take reservations, so at busy times you should be prepared to wait 20–30 minutes.
The flavours are wonderful: the patatas bravas, the pimientos de padrón and the lobster paella were superb.
With a glass of wine, you can eat wonderfully at Vinitus for at most 20–25 euros a head.
