Xiringuito Escribà

When I asked the locals of Barcelona where to eat the best Paella, they suggested Escriba.
Escriba is in a great spot on the beach of Barcelona, in front of the beach.
In the open kitchen, different kinds of paellas are cooked at the same time on more than ten stoves.
The appetizer plate we tried consisted of mussels, calamari, anchovies and seafood salad with potatoes. All were delicious and fresh.
We selected as main course black ink and lobster paella. Both were great.
At the end of the meal, we tried the mango creme brulee from the dessert tray, it was a magnificent finish.
Escriba is definitely the right address for a real Paella experience in Barcelona.
