Balthazar

Balthazar has been serving since 1973 beside Athens' popular Kolonaki district, in a delightful neo-classical building with 19th-century origins.
Its world-cuisine menu holds good examples from Italy, South America and the Far East, with small Greek touches added.
Of what we tried, the tuna ceviche, the truffled carpaccio, the duck pappardelle and the sushi were all very good.
If you go in the evening we'd suggest booking after 9pm; after 11 the place picks up further with a very enjoyable DJ set.
