Kos, Greece

Kos is a destination you can reach comfortably from Bodrum on a thirty-minute ferry. It isn't the most enjoyable of the Greek islands, but it still offers good options. High-end hotels have opened in recent years and their service is of a very high standard. Prices are well below their Bodrum equivalents.
There are plenty of places to eat, and one of the most recommended was Barbouni. Alongside classic Greek flavours, Barbouni has added world dishes such as ceviche and sushi to its menu. The cooking is at a high level, the service is good, and the tables on the sea side are very pleasant.
