Barbayani restaurant
Reached by a pleasant 45-minute boat ride, Burgazada is our choice among Istanbul's escapes. Relatively less crowded than the other islands, Burgaz is in our view the most enjoyable.
Barbayani (of the two Barbayanis on Burgaz, ours is the one near the motor pier) stands apart for its meze. The stuffed flowers, the mussel salma, the Cretan ezme, the fried potatoes and the artichokes in butter were all very good.
Even the return boat with live music, which we added in the last video, is a reason in itself to go to Burgaz.
