Portland won a Michelin star a year after opening in 2015 and has held it ever since. It's in Fitzrovia, in a quiet pocket just off Oxford Street — a warm, intimate room with about ten tables.
The menu changes with the seasons, and you can pick up echoes of both Far Eastern and French cooking. A high-level kitchen with quality service makes it a lovely address for a good dinner.
Prices are quite reasonable for a Michelin-starred restaurant, especially if you go for lunch.
