Without getting into the argument about whether büryan kebab originates in Siirt or Bitlis, you can find several different büryan options at the mostly Siirt-origin businesses in Fatih's Kadınlar Pazarı. Our choice was Şeref Büryan. Şeref Abi, one of the area's old hands, has renovated the shop; the flavour is the same. Putting away 200 grams at lunch and skipping dinner seemed to us the right tactic. 😀😋
