Havan'dan by Beff Gourmet
Reşitpaşa has become one of Istanbul's favourite districts in recent years. Havan'dan, one of the area's pioneers, has been welcoming customers since 2019. You could call it a new-generation esnaf lokanta.
Giving Turkish cooking a set of different touches, Havan'dan stands out for a delicious menu. Of what we tried, the cacık with avocado, the artichoke bowl with black rice, the broccoli salad, the boiled içli köfte, the aubergine dizim köfte, the lamb shank on purée, the courgette muhallebi and the banana pudding were all delicious.
When we went for lunch the service was warm and friendly. It could be pleasant in the evening too — they serve alcohol.
