Balıkçı Kahraman

Balıkçı Kahraman in Rumeli Kavağı is perhaps the most talked-about fish restaurant in Istanbul, for a quality it has never let slip. It's the first name that comes to mind for turbot. In general, everything you try is delicious. Even the bread — made specially at the bakery next door and then warmed on the stove inside — is something else.
At this level there is nothing to say about the flavour. Kahraman has duly found its place in the Michelin guide.
The one thing open to criticism is the prices: go prepared to pay a bill higher than at places you'd call very expensive. But as long as customers willing to pay those bills keep filling the room, in a market economy there isn't much room to complain.
