Lokanta 1741
We love chefs who bring a new understanding to Turkish cooking. Lokanta 1741 is inside the Cağaloğlu hamam — as you enter through the baths you may pass guests in towels. The terrace is incredibly pleasant. We ate a meal of world standard and everything was very good, but our favourites were the sea beans with taramasalata, the sweetbread şiş, the kelle taco, the lamb sweetbread, the saffron kebab and the tulumba with goat's cheese cream. For a high-level gastronomic experience, Lokanta 1741 is essential.
