Çokçok Thai

Thai food is perhaps the Far Eastern cuisine best suited to the Turkish palate. Built on generous use of coconut milk and peanuts, its staples are dishes like pad thai (Thai-style noodles usually made with prawns), chicken satay (a kind of grilled skewer) and green curry (a spiced prawn dish in sauce, eaten with rice).
In Istanbul, especially around Beyoğlu, there are several Thai restaurants with confusingly similar names. Çokçok Thai is one of the good options and recently made the Michelin list.
Çokçok Thai's kitchen dials the spice down a little compared with Thai restaurants abroad, offering a version perhaps closer to the Turkish palate.
Weaker than its counterparts abroad, but a good option compared with other Thai restaurants in Turkey.
